A good fried of mine is a state cop who qualifies with 118s and 119s consistently. He shot a sig mosquito in preperation for an NRA basic pistol instructor course and couldn't hit like he needed to. Shot a revolver and didn't miss. Take it for what it's worth

That thing is expensive.

I shot several boxes through the M&P 22 pistol and I like it alot and want one bad.

I also have a standard Ruger, couple of .22 revolvers, Hi Standard Model B, a couple of Phoenix SA .22s, 2 Sterling SA .22s and no real issues with any. Clean regularly. Cheap fun for sure.

That pic doesnt really show the gun well. That gun is really small.

ETA: they need to put a quarter or something beside it to show size. And obviously the link worked for me.

POS. Buy the browning buckmark if you want a reliable semi auto .22

The walther looks cool but is really picky about ammo.

My buddy got one, and while it works right now, it wasn't easy to get it there. I wouldn't buy one unless you are going to bring it to a gunsmith or something.

My personal issue w/ the Walther is the slide mounted external safety. Some of my cc guns are 1911's. The Walther safety operates the OPPOSITE of the 1911 (and most other semi-automatic pistols) in that the shooter thumbs it UP, rather than DOWN, to deactivate the safety and shoot the gun. The only Walther P22 I shot was not very accurate, but that may've just been bad luck.

I'm not sure exactly how the Sig slide mounted safety operates, but that might be something to consider.

For you Sig Mosquito shooters, how does the slide mounted safety work?

Saw it...looks nice.

I bought a Walther P-22 in green with the extended barrel a few years ago and I must say it's my favorite gun I have ever owned on the side of my Remington Nylon 66.

It's a joy to shoot, very accurate and looks downright badass.....

Why not a Ruger SR22? Tons of negative reviews for the Walther and Mosquito. Almost none for the SR22.
