Sounds like a Yankee problem that I will not concern myself with.
You aren't the only person Ford has to worry about.

I think I asked this question before, but how much less does the body of a 2016 F150 weigh than a 2014 body of the same configuration?
Heaviest base curb weight SuperCrew 4x4 configuration for a 2014 F-150 is 5,797 lbs with a 3.5L EcoBoost. Same configuration for a 2016 F-150 is 4,937 lbs. That's an 860lb difference. Across all configurations for the 2014 F-150 (~34 variants), all but 7 exceed 5,000 lbs base curb weight. Across the 34 configurations for the 2016 F-150, only one option exceeds 5,000 lbs base curb.

Repairs are also something to think about.

IIHS said it crashed a 2014 and 2015 F-150 into each other at low speeds to simulate offset rear-end accidents. It said the tests caused more damage to the aluminum-bodied truck in both the front and the rear. The cost to repair the front of the aluminum truck was $4,147, vs. $3,759 for the front of the steel truck. Fixing the rear of the aluminum truck was $4,738, vs. $3,275 for the steel truck. Repair costs for the aluminum truck were 42 percent higher for parts and 22 percent higher for labor, IIHS said. In addition, one side of the aluminum truck’s bed had to be replaced, while the steel truck’s bed only needed a repair.

Not the whole truck. Just the body.

This truck clearly his a large stationary vertical razor blade.

I would say the vast majority of those weight savings is in the body. Aluminum is about 1/3 the density of steel. It won't be long before frame structures start using aluminum alloy to replace steel parts, just like they are doing in the suspension parts.

FWIW trucks now days are supposed to do that. They absorb most of the impact instead of your body absorbing it. Not denying that that pic looks bad as shite and is quite scary, but sometimes that can save a life

Might have been a test drive. That would suck for the dealership.
