No thanks. If it's not a king snake, it's dying. Sorry to hurt your feelings

People who are afraid of snakes and other native wildlife should not be allowed to live in "the country". The pussification of America.
What's next - being afraid to swim because there are fish in the water???

And use a flashlight to gather eggs.

When I was a kid, I went in a barn in fading daylight and was gathering eggs when I reached in a dark nest and grabbed something soft and leathery.

Let go of it real fast and ran like hell to get a light and a weapon. Came back and found nothing in the nest but a couple of eggs. I grabbed one and almost broke my arm getting it out.

It was my first experience with a soft shell egg. It was like leather instead of a hard shell. Freaked me out.

Mongooses kill snakes too. Are they afraid of snakes or are they just badasses like me?

I've found them all over my house - my pets that escaped.
Luckily for them, I always find them before my wife does.
