There's a fella named Tkr from up around the MOLA area that does just what your describing. Hell there hasn't been a truck load of ducks killed on the Sage since he got his first duck call and jerk string.

Are there any body panels or exterior parts on your truck that are plasti-dipped?

I've never hunted Dolet Hills, but my stepdad still talks about the days when it was all public and you could stand in a hill and hear 3 or 4 races going at the same time. He said they'd run em until there wasn't a deer left.

Yep, hunting is just ok until dog season then it's crap, run em out of the country, I go back to spend time with FIL "piddling & fixing stuff around camp", killing deer is no longer the goal, helping him see a deer and spending quality time with him is :(

I always enjoyed that rivalry, just hated it when it was first game of the season. BIL is ATM grad, I'm really looking forward to being at a good tailgate for thanksgiving dinner and heading to hill country the next day to shoot caged grain fed deer. I find them much better table fare than free range venison

Yes Capt, glad to see Tigers and Aggies rivalry renewed, just feels right, looking forward to it especially with kids at each school!
Hill country deer get on the corn with a quickness, nothing else to eat but cactus, scrub oak and rock, makes for much better venison
