After teal and LSU yesterday I'm in full recovery mode today. Wishing my other half would wake up and cook breakfast, but she's still asleep. Guess I'm on my own here

No, way to much crap in the boat. We had to get out extra early to build a blind.

Wasn't up to hunting this morning. Feeling like shite.

I just woke up, again. That 2.5 hrs of sleep friday night is still kicking my arse. Back at it next Saturday....

I would do anything to be able to get out there on a weekday

I didn't sleep Friday night because of excitement and timing for Staurday. By the time I got home from tailgating I was around the 36 hour mark. I crashed really hard.

I didn't think about this part when I graduated, but in school I could always have "a paper to work on" or a "test to study for" during hunting season. Now I'm limited with vacation days. Sucks!

Damn welsh was another day of WWIi. Not a lot of birds near us but we bagged 7 and lost one. Some good flocks early on that we didn't capitalize on

No it was Labor Day weekend. Wife, kids, friend and his wife and kids, they were playing on the dock. He and I were chasing redfish begin camp and heard the screams. Made for a lovely weekend.

Very slow this morning. Saw a few birds high and headed toward the marsh. Around Pecan and White Lake the marsh is pretty dry. Still water and if I could find a little pot hole I could get to I may try later in the week. Not a lot of birds around though. 2 hunters this morning and we shot knocked 3 down in the rice stubble. Dog found them all but she had to work this morning.

Flat with a bunch of fields.

It's sporadic all over the area.

Killed another 3 man limit today. Struggled to finish out 18. Not complaining though.

Vacuum. Yesterday wasn't an A+ performance but the rice is over his head and there was no wind. He picked up everything couldn't fly today.

Only saw 2 teal all morning south of Ville Platte with no shots. Yesterday bagged 1 bird. Terrible opening weekend
