Go ahead and post all your pics. I need to know if its safe to go back to work. I don't want some team making a last minute drive on us.

We killed pretty good this year but our band count is way down from prior years. I am not sure what to make of that tid-bit of information. Any ideas?

We only got one. Our buddies in KS that usually kill 7-10 every year haven't killed near that many this year at all either.

I think we are safe. I am at work today, but my paddling scout has been giving me updates all morning. Will be back on them either Wednesday or Thursday to close it out.

I know it must seem strange but if you pay attention I will not talk about/post pics of hardly any activity other than duck/deer hunting. I love turkey hunting but the way it is looking I will not be able to go any this year. I have a weird schedule but it allows me some free time when I need it.

Only two woodies today. They starting to get thin due to the Mississippi River rising.

If we add the 44 points I have in my email for ball's that would put us at 805. The other 4 combined are at 862. Can we make one last push and beat the whole bunch? I don't know how much I have left in the tank, it's been a long one. May make one more hunt, thank the duck gods and get the fishing gear out.

To my teammates.

Finally got some water in some of the slews and woods around here. I plan on hitting them Friday-Sunday. Hope to add a few more anyway. It's been a tough year for me.
Thanks Team Fap for carrying me along. Next year can only get better.

I'm not finished yet. Bad start due to no water and shite went down hill due to being put into the dam hospital for a total of 23 days this season.

Even as bad as I felt some days, I still got out there. One was yesterday and I wounldn't of gone, but one of my brothers came in to hunt.

I still have to get a few more lbs off today and I will be back at it tomorrow. I might be hooking up with jsmoke.

34, I couldn't quit. You can't see this kind of stuff from the couch.
Thanks Choirboy, I will have to hold you to it.

Thank God for this thread. I usually duck hunt a lot (Pierre Part and mouth of the Amite areas), my Dad's motor has been shot since early March, so no ducks this year. Yall's pictures have made it easier for me to not feel so bad about not getting to bag some birds, but I did get a couple does and an 8-point in Miss. Thanks for the pics fellas.

No problem on the pics. May get a couple more.... Fighting the urge to go in the morning right now.

Re:Bands - we have not killed a single band this year. Although odd, they have dropped significantly over the past 6-8 yrs. There are fewer banded birds outside of the local bands (woodies, etc).

Re:MSWeb - agree. U may get a hunt with all of us next yr!

Team Fap: Good job. Alotta meat. I have about enough to feed the family and friends when needed.
