Agreed. I understand a few for display, but not all of them. Although the fish are donated to the food bank, so not a total waste.

Oh yeah they turned on and it was fast and furious at first light. We lost a couple also, pretty sure the big boy of the trip came off 100 ft from the boat.

That's the only fish they allow you to keep after weighing in.

Did you hear about any of the guys that went east for overnighters? All the sportfishers we talked to were saying east east east so I'm curious how they ended up doing

It was way east, and I wasn't going that far. Buddy went in the Medusa area and caught 2.

They always get a pile of black drum with those guys that go out every year and come back with 45-50 pounders and usually take 1st-3rd.
