Well I am the first. Bake me a cake. The 1911s felt like garbage in my hand.

the Sigma stays in the truck exclusively.

I had one of these for that same purpose. It sprouted legs and walked out of my truck. No telling what kind of carnage that gun has created since it left me.

You did throw $400 away.

You see, I appreciate this input. So I shouldn't buy it? Because the money is still in my pocket. What do you recommend?

unless you want a "throw away" or a "truck gun" dont buy the Sigma. Spend the extra $100 and get an M&P. Night and day difference

I bought the M&P. It felt really nice for a $500 gun.

ETA: $500. Relax boys.

I guess I'm the second. I really don't get the "Glock is a brick" thing. It feels very ergonomical to me in all respects.

I have a Sigma. Once you fix the trigger it isn't so bad.

if you buy a chevy, remove the engine, insert a ford body and interior, it isn't so bad.

Congrats on your M&P! Mine is my workhorse.

If you want to improve the trigger check out Apex Tactical. I have a review of this trigger on my YouTube channel with an M&P40 if someone wants to link it. On my phone...

You did fine.

Assuming one can find the really good 9mm SD ammo, the 9mm M&P might be a better choice. But 9mm ammo is still pretty scarce.

.40 FMJ & SD ammo is easier to find (though more expensive) -- so nobody can say you made a bad decision.

And the price was fair too (assuming it's NIB).
