I just bought a really cheap 12 gauge slug gun.

It weighs about 4 pounds. 3" slugs hurt.

MIL came back from Minden today. Said she saw a camo shotgun on side of 49 by cloutierville. She knew I'd be mad because she didn't pick it up
That would've been a cheap gun.

I seared some in a cast iron skillet for breakfast yesterday - first time doing it that way. Don't know that I'll ever fry it again. Little Dongs were ready to harvest another deer just to get more.

Took Mrs. CD fishing to my lil honey hole from last week... She out fished me in the 2 hours we were there...

She caught 4 to my 2. Of course, I was also having to bait her hooks and take the fish off. Missed a couple while doing that. Missed another that got off right at the bank and another when I was looking at my phone and not paying attention. Also had one throwback.

She caught the first. Was so awesome to see her face light up when it hit and she started reeling. Going back tomorrow to hopefully land some more!
