Anyone got any weekend results? I didn't get a chance to wet a line this weekend. Hoping to fish a little next weekend in Pensacola.

Tino I don't know what is wrong with the spillway. I haven't caught good bass there consistently since before Gustav came thru.

Chicken tenders and coleslaw. Caught one red and two small specks today in the yak before the lightning scared us off. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Same here. But I see pics of decent bass being caught. Last year made trips two Friday's in a row and caught over 30 each trip and the biggest ones were 10-11".
Not even catching them in those type of numbers this year

Had amberjack over a vegetable jambalaya at copelands in Houma. Washed it down with some white bottles. Apparently jeans, boots and a Columbia shirt is frowned upon in them parts. Thought my pecker was hanging out with all the stares I was getting.

Catfish, hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, slaw, potato salad. Followed by a locally grown watermelon.

Friday evening, I caught between two and six smallmouths. The largest might go a pound. The other(s) was(were)7-8". Didn't see another person the time I was on the river.

Homemade lasagna.

Accepted a new job Friday. Gonna go to work for the Ferry System as one of the terminal managers in town. Turned down a similar job in Whittier earlier this year but somehow that led to a domino affect that got me here.

Less stressful than my current job and with my health concerns I could use less stressful.
