A guy posted this in an Arkansas Deer Hunting page on Facebook. Said his dads friend killed this years ago and had a body mount did.
Surprised to see something that big come out of LA, but to be honest, I have no idea on the genetics of yalls herd.

Great deer, horrible taxidermy job

The Mississippi River flows close by. That river has monster deer the whole way.

Was it sonny Suggs? Don’t know the guy or which is accurate just found that on the google. The attire seems to match late 70s early 80s lol

That’s pretty awesome. Dude is in some wranglers and a sweatshirt
Looks like they already started skinning the thing before they even took a picture of it
If that was today, there would have been 100 pics taken of that thing before it got to the skinning rack and 50 hashtags

Would be incredible to walk into some Ole baws 1200 sq ft house and he has a 200” full body mount taking up half the living room.

I know of 3 similar bucks killed in that area over the years. Clyde V killed one, and your cousin’s husband had one on camera that the club next door killed

You realize there is a delta in LA and the MS river runs the length of our state right?
Posted on 12/30/20 at 5:14 pm to WhuckFistle
That definitely looks 1980’s and believable. Deer were reintroduced in sw miss and probably other areas too in the 60-70’s. My grandfather started a club back in the late 70’s and they would occasionally kill a hammer with those Kansas/Illinois DNA that they transferred down. By now that dna is gone with 4pts and pine trees for bedding and feeding. Plus there was more farming back then as compared to now as another poster stated.

Yeah but didn’t know where St Francesville was located at. Guess I should’ve googled.
