My heart is ready.

Will be chasing them tomorrow on public land with the deuce deuce and a buddy.

Over/under cotton mouth kills is at 2; walking into banana-spider webs at 4.

This is my favorite weekend of the year, even though LSU totally took the life out of the LSU-FL game for this season.

10 years ago today was that epic game in Death Valley. My best friend and I were there. That morning I shot my first limit of squirrels and was done by 7 am.

Getting old.

I'm going in the morning. Trying to decide if I'm bringing the dog or not. He's been at the parents house all summer eating rice and gravy and shite.

From potential grand night champ tree dog to lap dog

Gonna be a long season boys

We're having our annual squirrel Battle Royale in the morning. Me and small balls against my Pops and a nephew. Small Balls will be on the trigger with a crack barrell .410 for our team. I'll have my trusty Ruger twenty twice for backup. We're bringing home the title this year. Can't wait.

Our camp will have a squirrel rodeo for the late season this year.

Only headshots with a rifle. No points for anything else. Ties will be broken by least number of bullets used.

I'm sure the bottom I'm bow hunting in will be full of squirrel hunters, maybe it will make the deer move.

First time I miss it in 6 years due to being offshore. Today is considered an excused absence in Avoyelles schools.

Confusing post all around. Not sure whether to downvote the poor cuisine choice or upvote the invitation.
I'm 6 weeks into a 12 week surgery recovery, and crutches don't do well in the woods. Gonna have to sit this one out.

Ah, big leathery squirrel nuts.

Losers should have to where them around their neck.

Love hunting them.

Love eating them.

Don't like cleaning them.

One of my cats killed and partially ate one yesterday. It had 2 wolves. I love squirrel hunting and I love to eat them but it’s been too hot. I won’t be killing any until it cools off and the wolves leave.

Our season has been open for a couple of weeks in AL, but I haven't gone yet for this reason. I've been thinking about it, but the thought of those nasty-arse larvae is enough to send me fishing instead.

How dangerous are those parasites to humans?

The sight of them crawling out of a recently killed squirrel has made thousands of people vomit to death.

I'm not familiar with them. Probably ate them and didn't know.
