Paid 5 bills for mine when they came out. Excellent deal here. And IMO, the extended mag is a must. Paired with the Alien CT 3.0, it's super slim and easily concealed.

You get the pistol shipped to an FFL and do the 4473 there and pay a fee that the FFL charges

Stock trigger pull is okay. It's not as smooth as my XD40, but there is a Powder River Precision trigger kit that smooths it out a good bit.

In my opinion the trigger on the XD-S 9 is very similar to that of a stock Glock trigger. Now bash me Glock boys.
I "pulled the trigger" on a Shield Performance Center due mainly to the fact that I liked it's trigger better than the XD-S.
Now 379.99 for the XD-S probably would have changed my mind. It was local to me for about 450 which I thought was a decent deal on it...but went with the Shield at $460 for the trigger.....the deal there is damn good from what I've seen.
