I shoot 3-1/2" #2 with a full choke, it can kill ducks or geese. Also I keep a few BB in my bag in case its a slow day and I want to try some high fliers.

LOL, dad's buddy told me that down around texas city they used to spread out newspaper and if birds didnt get close enough then they'd break out the .22 with banana clips.
