Same guy with Solo Sword Fish the day before--So big he can't fit it in the boat!!!!!!!!!

Looks like he was fishing the 1200 ft drop by the 9 mile rigs.

Damn that was cool. I'm having mild panic attacks thinking about all that line and rope all over that boat

Congrats to him, but he is a moron for trying to go out in the GOM in a 20' skiff..Even with an epirb!

Way too many risk for my blood. Kids and family come frost, not my stupid ideas of sword fishing alone!

Bad arse. He's living life! At least he had an EPIRB and was wearing a life preserver. You see nice boats all the time that don't have an EPIRB. When was the last time you saw a guy on a boat where a life preserver???

I thought for sure a mako was going to come clip that swordfish in two.

That guy had his Panga for sale a few months ago. I think the ad said he was moving back to Austrailia.

Nonetheless, impressive thing to do by yourself.

He also has some good sight fishing videos of the Biloxi Marsh, he strapped a ladder down on the front of the boat and fly fished from the ladder. Pretty funny to see at first.

I don't give a shite if he has his life preserver on, the set of brass balls that sumbitch is carrying around is going to bring him straight to the bottom.

Great video, thanks for sharing.

When was the last time you saw a guy offshore in a 20ft boat??? This dude is absolutely insane. As safe as he was trying to be wearing his PFD and EPIRB that is still the most dumb thing I have seen. That being said, the dude is bad arse.

Far from insane. You are grossly underestimating the capabilities of that panga in the hands of a good helmsman.

bullshite. That panga may be the most seaworthy 20 foot boat ever built, but it's still a 20 foot boat with a single outboard.

What point are you trying to make? There isn't anything about what he's doing that is unsafe. Unsafe for you, maybe unsafe for me, but for someone with experience this is not a huge deal.

The single engine argument is silly. Too many people say singe engines are dangerous off shore all the while only having one fuel source that both motors share.

this. You don't need a gigantic boat to fish offshore if you know what you are doing.
