Shot a doe saturday morning with the muzzleloader. After that I went to the area where I knew a trespasser had been. Got his stand and his nice camera with a memory card. I also have him on my camera walking in with a bucket of corn.

After all the stands we have had stolen over there, it's nice to get one back. It was a brand new stand too!

Should have left a note saying that it could be picked up at the Sheriff's office. Then he would know another trespasser didn't steal it...

The neighboring property has chased several people off this year. The guy actually put a stand up 50 yards (in plain sight) from a ladder stand we have.

I don't leave any of my nicer stands on the property. We usually just build a few wooden stands with left over wood.

I rarely let anyone outside of family hunt on my land anymore. Didn't take me long to find out that when you let someone hunt, the next thing you know they are back again with one of THEIR friends. Then THAT friend is back by himself or one of HIS friends. This just keeps going on and on and on. It never ends. I decided years ago that I enjoyed hunting and I would never be dependent on public land or someone else's generosity if I needed somewhere to hunt. I worked hard, saved my money, bought some land, paid it off and now it's mine. If you want to hunt, go do the same thing I did. And in the meantime, keep off my property.
