Getting geared up to make our first snow goose hunt this weekend. Started watching videos and found this.

I'd let all 3 rip straight across the bunch on the water. Screw that single trying to distract me.

I'm not going to tag him, but he's loading his 4th shell right now.

That's true, I forgot that's allowed during the split.

NWLA. It's not a guided deal.

We just can't stand it any longer. It's the split, so we're going to try it. Saw a few over there 2 weeks ago, but with the coming freeze, I suspect a big influx of birds could happen between now and Sat. morning.

By seeing a few 2 weeks ago, I mean like 500 in the stratosphere. However, when the big push happened last year they were sitting down in some fields in the area and we were seeing 20K+ a morning flying low and looking.

We'll see...

I'd dust roll that speck @ 5 yards then go to work on the sky carp.

*assuming that's not a decoy. And even then, maybe.

Those plastic specks are tough, even after being in a crock pot a few hours.

It would still be a toss up on which I'd rather eat.

My son has one with a drum mag. Talk about some fire power.
