I've come to the conclusion that push mowing just isn't for me anymore. I have too many trees and a riding mower will make my life alot easier when it comes to mulching leaves. I've priced a small snapper and the smallest husqvarna they make at around 1500 each. Which one do you guys think would be the best bang for my buck at that price, and which will hold up and be easier to maintain.

Thanks

I've had both and liked my snapper more.

Can't go wrong with snapper. I got a used snapper in great shape last year for $400 on craigslist. If you want to try your luck there.

I've heard everyone love their snapper. Same can be said about the husqvarna though. I think the snapper will be slower but I hear people say they cut better. (B/c they are slower? )

Yea, I'm leaning towards the snapper too, but I'm gonna leave my options open a few more days and let the weeds grow

I thought the same thing about the riding mower. Do you have a self propelled now?

Yea, it's a husqvarna self propelled. Also my wife thinks the yard should be mowed weekly, so the push mowing can cut into my golfing too. Haha. With a riding mower I can throw her on it and I can man the weedeater. Twice as fast then

I have a 2004 (i think) rear engine snapper my uncle gave me 3 years ago. The only thing I had to do other than change oil and sharpen the blade was mount a beer can holder. That mower knows no quit. Fires right up every year.
