Can someone explain this latest Facebook trend? Why is everyone trolling PETA with taking hoist pics and applying the PETA "Shoot Selfies - Not Animals" picture frame?

I guess my question is really: is there a hunter back story / new anti hunting campaign or did PETA just release a facebook photo frame?

I refuse to use it because all it does is give PETA ad clicks and exposure. Using it probably gives PETA money.

That. A bunch of my people have done it. I'm sitting this one out without more information. Seems like a good way for PETA to compile a list of hunters.

PETA having me on a list is literally the last thing I'm worried about

If you don't think the left can have hunting and fishing banned and made illegal then you are being very naive. Just look at what they have accomplished in the last 4 years.

Since when is trolling PETA a bad idea?

PETA had a bad idea for a filter. All the country baws posting their hunting pics with a PETA filter is a great troll job, and I find it pretty funny. Yes, I partook in it, as well

Not really worried about this or getting my name on a list. but...

This would not surprise me in the list. They will probably use those numbers for ad marketing.

As someone who works in digital marketing, this. This times 10000. Everyone is laughing thinking they are rubbing it in their face, meanwhile PETA is aggregating HUGE lists of hunters/fishermen to target with future ads/marketing stuff.
