What are the best ideas for shallow water docks as far as fish habitats?

The deepest portion is the back with six or seven feet while the front is only two.

They can't put anything under the dock because it's a small dammed lake that fluctuates a lot.

It's on a shallow cove just off the river channel?

Should we put the habitat just off the sides?

Also what do you suggest? Concreted buckets? Prc?

are you trying to fish directly off the dock?
I would suggest putting it close to the river channel

Wait 8 months and put christmas trees. They are free and readily available.

Fishing off dock. Channel is 100 yds away but there is a 12 foot deep slough from channel to cove.

Stake beds (tomato stakes) are pretty popular for people who looking to catch white perch off of their dock.

If you have electricity on the dock:

Street light or under water light system if you have the money and one or more of those classic bug zappers. Light in combination to bugs in the water will pull tons of bait into the area.

Drop some cans of wet dog food with holes punched into the cans then and set up a bright light. Once you see the fish with the street light you just lower the bug zapper in, and there you go.

Your welcome

this works great

ETA: no matter the situation in my experience
you can almost always catch something under a bright light with bugs in the water

Make a rock bed in the shallow part and Christmas trees, PVC trees, and culverts in deep part.
