You can get a couple of years out of the metal frame ones. Especially if you prep the site correctly.

We set our 27' rd up a couple years ago, we didn't add any start up chemicals, just alot of salt and ran the chrolinator at 100% for about a week or so, tested the water and started adding chemicals to get to required levels.

Not in todays pool world, I have a 27' matrix resin above ground pool, these pools were designed to run with salt water generators.

the hell with putting all those chemicals in the water. thats expensive. add some fish and set up a pay-to-fish operation at home. the bream and minnows will keep the mosquittos in check.

Mine is all stainless and resin...I still wouldn't do it...

we've used Pristine Blue for 12 years now and the water quality is always excellent
