As we approach opening day, what's everyone seeing?

I got back from a 3 day hunt east of Stuttgart late last night. Sunday and Monday were bad. Yesterday was epic.
All of the guides said they saw more birds yesterday alone than they've seen the entire season combined this far.
Sunday and Monday had almost no geese in fields anywhere. The tide turned after the Sunday evening and Monday cold front.

Ring necks and teal in Terrebonne brackish marsh. Not sure about our lease on coast. Hopefully the greys still down there munching on snails. Venice still stacked according to bass fishermen at plant.

I hunt on the avoyelles/rapides parish line. Made a deer hunt yesterday morning and saw more flight ducks then I have seen in a couple of years.

Was at our lease in Terrebonne parish sunday. Saw a good bit of BWT. A few ringnecks and a few grays. Not as many as typical for this time of year. Still looking forward to Saturday, though !

I’m headed to Texas to do some goose hunting. They had a crawfish pond south of Alexandria along I-49 that was loaded with ducks. Also we have been seeing flights of geese the whole time we have been on I-49

Saw a pair of hooded morganzas and about 10 whistlers fly over my yard on Tues. Was 30+/- whistlers a few weeks ago so I guess the baws been working on them.

One of our guys went to the lease this morning just south of Bayou Boeuf and didn't see anything on the farm. Maybe they are off Cheneyville/Echo road.
