Yep, that would not work for me either.

Especially since it's basically a toy and way down the list as far as rifles I would take on a hunt.

Mash here for a new Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 Mild-dot for $299 shipped
Just picked up 4 of these and you won't find a better scope for that price. Almost $200 off regular price

Zeiss or nothing for me on all my long guns, can't beat them for clarity at long range

I agree and I love my Zeiss scopes too but they cost more than double the price of the Viper I listed. There comes a point where cost outweighs differences in scopes though. For the money that Viper listed is as good as it gets for that price range

How do you like the mil-dot reticle compared to the "Dead Hold BDC" reticle. I've been looking at the Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x50mm AO scope w/ Dead-Hold BDC Reticle.

Nevermind, I see the same scope w/ Dead-Hold BDC reticle is on sale for same price as the Mil-dot. That price is a little less $50 cheaper than the best priced Crossfire I found. I prefer 1" scope tubes over 30 mm, but I might make an exception for the Viper.

That's a rifle that goes out of stock as soon as it hits the shelves here. I'm going full on 6.5 douche bag. 6.5G on the AR. And I want a 6.5C on a bolt. If I ever find one on the shelf I'm going to pick it up.
