High pressure can slow the bite after a front passes.

The wind usually muddys up the water. Reds love cold water from what I have seen. I'm headed to Venice this weekend to try and redfish/ bass fish, so I guess I will find out Saturday... Doesn't help I have no idea where to fish down there though. Any help on some spots and what to look for would be nice

You know that opening Teal season is this weekend?

Now for another heads up. With this cool front, that is going to push out water and with that, there will be a very good run of big shrimp running out with that water. Bait is going to be thick. Trick is to find clean running water for best bite.

For bass dont even bother with the west side of the river, end of camp canal may be ok, but they are smacking them in the Delta Duck off main pass.
Reds will not be hard to find. I think I may have your email porpi, can send you more details later

I'm thinking Saturday morning right before the front passes the fish will be going berserk.

There are only two places to fish interior marsh in Venice. Delta refuge and Pass A Louture WMA. Everything else is private.

Save our marsh!

Original plan was to teal hunt, but im not a big hunter, so i found a guy to fish with me for the weekend while the others at the camp hunt.

Go on VRBO.com and look for a houseboat at the marina. May also be booked, but worth checking

saltwater fishing is not as affected as much as freshwater as far as post front conditions.

I've still had some success a day after a front freshwater. But on that second blue bird day its tough.
