It is an emtry level AR much like the Smith and Wesson M&P15 Sport. They are working ARs for less. Between this and the M&P15 Sport gen ii, it is seriously a toss up.

Ruger just manages to do a great job at making quality firearms affordable. The same goes for their Ruger SR1911 - it's one of the best value guns out there.
And I agree with Chat - the Smith and the Ruger are two excellent entry ARs.

Had a buddy just pick one up last week. Very impressed with the fit and finish of the gun for the price. Anodizing was slick and the Ruger proprietary parts (delta ring, grip, and BUS sights) were really nice features.
I haven't shot it yet, but having handled the Ruger and S&W, the Ruger feels like a much more expensive rifle. May pick one up for giggles.

No problem man. If you all want good deals, go to Reddit and go to r/gundeals. That is where I usually get info on good deals. I will continue to post the ones I think are good under here for those who do not use Reddit.
