I can't remember exactly but around $300 I think. A friend of mine fabricates them and they range anywhere from $150-$400 depending on what you want (height, rails, width, etc.). If you're looking for one and you like that one, you can shoot me an email and I'll get you in touch with him. It's really quality work.

Looks like my boy Vito's work!

Awesome video. I just started making some videos myself, is there any particular reason you upload to vimeo instead of youtube?

you da man MB

Dustin: I find Vimeo doesn't demolish quality as much as YouTube and it doesn't have the ads like YouTube does. I also feel like they're a little more lenient with their copyright infringement stuff.

What a great video - thank you.

The platform can be removed pretty easily? Should I ever find my way south, near the coast again I'll want to add this to my boat.

What wt/length fly rod is that? Doesn't look like a terribly long leader you have there, what is usual length?

Yeah man. I have an eye bolt through my front deck that holds it down via turnbuckle and chain. I have to take it off to put my boat in the garage. Everything on my boat comes off for duck season too.

That was a 9' TFO BVK 8wt with a Hatch 7+. Leader was probably ~8ft mono with a foot of fluoro tippet. I like the mono when sight casting reds in grass because it floats well. The foot or so of fluoro helps get the fly down enough, but not too much.

Well done Bluemoons. This ranks right up there with some of my favorites.
Figured I'd share this one to the group, not me, nor was I involved in making it, but this one always gets my heart going.

Which editing program are you using? I've been working on a video for a couple weeks using iMovie, but I'd like a few more features.

iMovie but honestly it's a major handicap. I used to be into it when I was younger and always used Premiere Pro and it's much, much better. I'm gonna upgrade to FCP or Premiere Pro before the next video.
