I have some time to make a decision, worst case I bring an old 20g (that won't happen).

I've read plenty of bad things about the VS a. I took them off the list when I bought my O/U. From what I remember, they aren't even made by CZ, just branded.

I would definitely check into it before buying one.

ETA: Actually made by Huglu. Reviews are mixed. Lots of people like them...but not made by CZ. Fyi.

Past couple of weeks I've held more O/Us than the rest of my life. Made my decision and slid the plastic earlier today.

Went with the Franchi Instinct L, normally $1150, on sale at Cabela's for $1050, so only exceeded the budget by $50, which by this boards standards is pretty good. Tried finding a used one for a while, but really liked the way this one felt. Should be ready for pick up in about a week, ready to make some memories with this thing.

Have no problem with the silver reserve.
Lot less money. Any gun is only as good as the hunter behind it.

Nothing wrong with a silver reserve.... it's the shooter behind the gain that matters!
