I have an old early 90's Shimano Calcutta 250 I haven't picked up in years.

looked at it yesterday and couldn't believe I had it on such a crappy rod

looking for something sensitive that will feel those subtle bitess but can still handle a Redfish destroying a gold spoon.

Ugly Stick, here's why, had the All Stars, Duces, and unless your fishing all the time, everyday, for the $$$ you cough up for them only to break them every couple years, you may as well use an Ugly Stick. Tough as nails and you only give up a little sensitivity.
