I don't care to spend a fortune but I definitely don't want junk. I was considering a entry level zeiss for around 350$. Thoughts?

Nikon pro staff is all you need on that gun. $160.

What type of hunting do you do?
How late / early are you in the stand?
How hard are you on your equipment?
All important information for recommending a scope.

I use this gun in stands where I will never shoot over 100-150 yrds. But I do hunt in a couple stands in pine thickets where it gets dark way before legal shooting hours are up, so I would like it to draw in decent light. I am very carefull with my equipment.

The range on a .30-.30 isn't far so you won't need much.

Look at the Vortex Viper line. Great Co. with super customer service. I purchased a scope and binoculars from them.

I also recommend a nikon prostaff. Or a nikon buckmaster. I had a buckmaster on my 257 weatherby and I have a prostaff on my 300blk. They're both great scopes and I'm pretty hard on my equipment. I like my nikons better than my leupold. One of my brothers has a vortex diamondback(I think), and my other brother has a zeiss conquest on his 7mm. Both great scopes as well. You can't go wrong with any of them in my opinion.

Vortex Crossfire II - you pick your choice of magnification and reticle - can't beat em at this price point..
