If I can figure out how to get rid of that green film over it, it will be my go-to. Google earth no longer works on my work computer

it's just a link to show you the date of photography. Use regular ole Bing for viewing.

You are safe, don't worry. Google Earth wouldn't zoom in far enough to identify your "pond".

Welcome back
I know that I am late to the greeting but I wanted my welcome to stand out from the others.

a slight derailment

On Google earth, on my computer, I have all my waypoints uploaded. I have the google earth app on my android and it works pretty well. anybody know how to have the app look at my uploaded waypoints? or how to get the location of "my" google earth location so I can get to it with my phone?

Do you use the internet version of Google Earth or the downloadable version? If you use the downloadable version, you can use Androids version of cloud to link all your files over to your phone. My FIL used this a few weeks ago to find some reefs and I was thoroughly impressed.

The board is clearly labeled the Outdoor Board. Reelfun had a glasses thread the other day, maybe you should find it and utilize it.

I did not realize that. I am a fishing bum. My side of the family provides the hunting and the other side provides the fishing. I am a strong 7 hunter but addmitably, I am only a 4 fisherman.

I will give him a call later today and get the details from him. But I believe that he was just able to access the software from his phone through the cloud and have it all right there.

Use google and bings maps. They update different sections at different times. AllTrails is a good app to use for iPhone
