I don't know if it's just the redneck running through my veins but I want to put a light bar on my truck but there is only one problem.... how do people justify spending the money on one? There are only two types of people that acutally "need" a light bar: 1) Big game safari hunters 2) Redneck trying to establish dominance in small town.

What do yall think?

I don't understand it. I'm going to go ahead and say big game safari hunters don't need them. Mostly just rednecks...

You can get the cheaper off-brand for significantly less than the name brands, who the hell actually pays for those Rigid Industry lights?

Also, the OB is strict on light bar usage and placement. Where do you plan on putting it so that we know how to judge you.

I understand how nice it must be to have all that light offroad. But the times I have been to an offroad park, people go crazy with them. It's a pita having that many candlepower shined in your face all night.

Clearance lights underneath and around with a few spot lights is really all thats needed "off-road" except in the desert

They're great on a boat. Especially during duck season.

I have trouble seeing at night on some dark roads.

Rarely use my KC's but they do come in handy on occasion.

For spotlighting or for cruising through a field in the Polaris at 30mph they are fantastic. Also for loading and unloading or doing work at a distance at night. The added height of mounting them on the roof makes a big difference also.

On my Polaris Ranger that is.
