Question about flood work in BR

Don't know if this is the right board, but I know there are several contractors on here. How much, percentage wise, of flood damage work is left to be done in Baton Rouge? After witnessing it the week after the flood, I can't imagine that it's half finished yet.
TIA
TIA

Hard to say. There are still houses in my parents' neighborhood that are still doing some demo work. There are other houses that are up for sale for cheap as the owners don't intend to rebuild themselves.

I'm not convinced that even half of the demo is done. So many places have been abandoned. Definitely not half of the rebuilding is finished, especially when you consider the commercial side.

There's still a whole lot left. I know most houses that I'm personally working on are either right at or just past the texture and paint stage. You have the issue of a lot of people waiting on insurance checks before starting on anything but demo.
I'm expecting a 2nd wave of production to hit soon...

We are cleaning my house right now. Will be livable for my wife and newborn by Friday. Most neighbors are 4-6 weeks behind us.

Lots are Sheetrocked and waiting on their interior doors to come in. Door suppliers are 4-6 week delivery times.

Yep exactly. 4-6 weeks everywhere for doors and it's pretty similar with cabinets, especially custom cabinets
We are trying out a door supplier in Mississippi. They say it will be 2 weeks. We are going to take a trailer up and bring them back. It will help our production a ton.
