I cracked the frame duck hunting last season. I finally decided it's time to get them repaired. I just sent them a form to get them quoted to get fixed.

What do you think this will run me? I know its not the lenses so it shouldn't be too much. I'm guessing maybe $45? What say you?

I'm hoping they don't charge me that much to repair the frames. If so, I ain't getting them fixed.

Depends on the frame and if they find you at fault for the damage. Costa has the worst customer service in the world. I had a dispute with them over faulty craftsmanship, they wouldn't take responsibility. I filed a complaint with BBB and they immediately made every effort possible to rectify the situation. So I would suggest that if they come back with a price that is unacceptable. Even if you're in the wrong, they will probably cave just to get it taken off.

Yea the lenses are fine. It's just one of the frames in in two pieces.

Ther customer service has been aweful for me on issues I felt they were clearly at fault for. Good luck

And if your glasses are older, they very well may not make that style any longer. So then you would have to get a new pair...

Well when I filled out the repair form, my glasses were on the lists. So I guess that's a good sign

That's what I like to hear. I hope mine cost that little!

About how long did the whole process take? From the time you mailed them out till when you got them back?

I bent the shite out of both the arms on mine and sent them in. They said the lens were scratched and total repair would be $82. Went ahead and got them to fix them. Pretty sure they just sent me a new pair

I snapped an arm off and shattered a lens, because I'm stupid and kept wearing them with 1/2 the arm. I was straight up with Costa about what happened. Didn't feel the arm was my fault, lens was. $13 for processing and shipping.

Yea mine broke while I was duck hunting. I had my glasses around my neck on the strap and when I put my gun up, they somehow came between the butt and my shoulder. When I took the gun down, the glasses fell in the mud.

I told them just that. I don't think I was being negligible with them. Maybe they won't charge me for them. But my lenses definitely aren't scratch though.

Mine weren't broken but the rubber was peeling off the frame, just the processing fee and they took my same lenses out and put them in new frames

I sent my wife's Costas back because the frame was destroyed by our toddler. She basically got a new pair back for less than $20.
Costa was very easy to deal with.

That's good to hear. Like I said, the only problem with mine is that the frames are cracked in half. I even tried to put some black electrical tape to hold them together, but to no avail.
