A coworker had this little guy wonder into her yard. Doesn't want to take it to the pound if the owner can't be found. I thought I'd take it in if it was a decent dog.

Looks to be an AKC mutt.

Yeah, I just saw that. Maybe I'll get one. She's saying they're pretty playful and nice.

I had a dog that looked just like that one when I grew up. One of the best dogs ever. We always thought it was part shepherd and part lab/rott. Either way, dog was loyal, nice, but would hold his own against other dogs if need be.

The vet I used to use called them Airplane dogs.
