Price of cattle

anyone know what they are going for now? I have a 3 year old open cow with a 3 month old steer i am ready to get rid of. Id rather not fool with the sale barn if i dont have to.

Depending on breed, around here pairs go from $2500 to $3,000.

2.00 -2.50 lb on the steer and maybe 2-3k on the cow depending on breed

shite i thought i put the breed. Both are beefmaster. She was registered. The steer was off of her and registered beefmaster bull, but didn't register him.

I think you could back the cow down a little but she'll go for close to 2 thousand.

The steer will definitely bring over $2/lbs.

I'd ask 3K for the pair, and be prepared to take $2500 or so...

We run a few beef cattle as well. We just had a new heifer born this weekend...
