I hunt around Springfield and haven't seen anything this season. Spent all day in the stand today and didn't see a damn thing.

I actually predict best time will be right at dark tomorrow evening. Looks like the wind will be calm and deer should be moving.

Saw a spike right at dark this evening. I swear those swamp deer are ghost. When they stand still its almost like you can see right through them. Even in broad day light.

This....It seems like when its this cold the deer dont move until the suns warms things up a bit.Just my personal experience.

I saw deer from 2:30 until dark, total of 9 does and 1 spike and one coyote.

This is true for me on almost all morning hunts ever.
Getting in the stand way before daylight doesn't do much for the you IMO...
