Anybody got a recent report on Poverty Point? Going to be up that way Saturday and wanted to take my dad fishing. Appreciate any info. I will be the fool in the Xpress bay boat.

Here I is! LOL
The sac-au-lait were biting pretty well about 2 weeks ago until that last wave of rain started. I caught a nice mess off the bank in my backyard 2 weeks ago tomorrow; the rain started again and it hasn't been right since. I have caught one since.
People I talk to are catching a few. I heard of some nice catches around the Marina, but even that has slowed down. This weekend was slow with the wind. Water temps change with the rain. We need about 64 degrees to get them on the bank.
Bad news: rain forecast every day this week!
ETA: Turkey Creek lake was producing fine catches last week, but again the rain stopped that. One guy limited out (50 vs 25 at PPR). 2 days in a row then it quit.

Many thanks for the report. Guess will try it out and see what happens.
Planning on trying around the marina first and see what's happening, then trying the islands in the middle for a little while.

Most of the boats around the marina the last few weeks have been off the bank on that ROW that runs thru there. There were a ton of them there 2 weeks ago up until the rains.
If you get there come to the first cove from the north on the east side of the lake, between the houses. I may be out.

Couyon Do you usually have a tracker in your boat slip ?

I am east of that slip. No dock.
