2016 15'6 Gheenoe Classic with olive outside/tan inside. I had them flip the center box fore/aft so I have room to walk down both sides and don't have to crawl over a middle bench seat. Low front deck, eventually gonna put a casting platform up there. I have a 15hp Johnson on it and I was getting +-20mph with me, my brother, and my dog. Looking to upgrade to a 25hp soon.

No time for spraying RoundUp when you are fishing.

How stable is it walking around the box compared to staying center of gravity over it?

Badass!

If I see you down there in the Cocodrie marsh, I'll give you the secret OB wave.

Surprisingly stable. Didn't feel uncomfortable walking around on it at all.

You normally launch from Coco? Our camp is right by Cecil Lapeyrouse's store so we normally fish the marsh to the east.

Buddy has a camp in-between Lapeyrouse and Tradewinds so I just launch there. I'll be hitting the marsh through the butterfly canal tho this weekend, got a couple spots back up in there.

That's nice man.

If you don't mind me asking what was the final price on that beauty? Also why did you pick the classic over the 15'4 was it the extra width?

I've been looking at Gheenoes for several years. Buddy of mine has two, and he won't sell either.

$3300 for hull and trailer, already had the motor

And for the added width, plus I can put a poling platform on the classic which isn't available on the 15'4

I have a high affection for gheenoes.

Mind sharing where you bought it from?

I ordered it through Graves Gheenoe in Hattiesburg. About a 2.5 month wait.
