I paid $240 for 2 dz burritos, 12 lbs of sausage and 85 lbs of ground meat and backstrap steaks.

That's on par with most of the hill country places. The good news is they can make some killer stuff.

A lil over 300 for 140lb doe at Bergerons. Needless to say wont be back to them. Brought my last two to my usual in Kentwood.

So glad I'm the type of person who thinks.....damn that prolly cost me a lot of money and never puts the pen to the paper to do a "cost breakdown"

Being outdoors
The camp bullish..ting
The four wheeeler ride/boat ride.
A cold beer while fishing/after the hunt.
Time spent with youngsters teaching safety, hey dad what's that sound etc.

I've just never had a processing bill over $200 so it seemed a little high.

High for the usual processing prices here in north central Alabama. Most I ever paid was 185 and it included a pile of sausage.

Agree 100%

But for reference

In north central La I had a 150# buck skinned, gutted, 40# of smoked sausage made, and the rest ground up and vacuumed packed for around $150.
