I'd say not out of the ballpark if it was something mixed like sausage.

Yeah, I would say that's about par.

I think this is what I normally get but I guess I don't remember it being over $200 in years past but I guess this deer may have been a good bit bigger. I did a doe that was 100 lbs and my last years buck I only got 40 pounds of sausage total. I'm not complaining because this is by far the best sausage I have ever had.

Spend to get the deer meet:
$254 processing
$1800 corn
$1200 fuel
$3500 new deer blind
$300 new deer feeder
$600 for deer mount
$7000 for camp expansion

Even if you take out the blind, feeder, and camp expansion that's like $38 a pound

$146 a pound if you add it all up.

I build my own and by the time you buy everything it's probably close to that.

You don't want to do that math, I did/do it with fishing and it'll give you pause.
