Has anyone fished with Peace lately in Venice? I hear about all of the new guys running Freemans etc, but haven't heard about him in a while. Is he still a stone cold fish killer?

The majority of guides don’t like him. Guy still catches a lot of fish. If you want a sword Peace is your guide.

Peace is a hardcore fisherman and will put you on the fish, does not want to quit.
Went last year in august and was on swordfish all day with a bonus tuna on a swordfish drop.

We did a bachelor party with Peace a few years ago and had a fricking blast. Would highly recommend him to anyone. We went 1/2 on swords and caught our limit of snapper on the way in. We stayed out a few hours longer than the rest of the fleet as Peace wanted to hook up to another sword and was in no rush to go in like some of the captains down there once you put a nice fish in the boat.
Also, he got a new boat a few months after our trip that is supposedly awesome.

think he already had a falling out with the owner of that vessel. But has another on the way. If anyone has pics of the newer one at razorhead i've been dying to see it.

while the other guides are back at the dock, peace is still fishing. my last few trips were slow and we ended up back in venice after dark. one trip we hooked up on a sword at 5pm while the other boats were cleaning up at the dock.

Had an excellent trip with him about 15 yrs ago. Nice summer yellowfin all day then we got a marlin.
