Nice 300BLK upper from PSA. Pretty comparable to that DPMS price wise but seems to be much nicer. Doesn't include bcg/ch though. LINK

Good deal but I am not sure about the pistol length gas system on a 16" upper. I don't know enough about gas systems.

Pistol runs just fine on any length (and is actually preferred by some). The only somewhat of a knock on it is the 1:8 barrel. Little better for supersonics, but not quite as good for sub's vs the 1:7 that most run.

hmmmm. Can anyone give more info on the gas system here? I ordered from Midway but they have not shipped yet so I can cancel.

My next ar related purchase will be a 300 blk upper. I have a lower waiting to go together when i get around to it. My palmetto state 5.56 upper has performed well for me so i wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Anything I've ever read about it says that the gas port just needs to be a little larger to run pistol length on a 16", so I imagine they have done so if they are selling it. Noveske runs pistol length on their 16's, so take that for what it's worth.

ETA: here's a thread on it at 300blktalk, probably will answer any questions you have about it. They know their shite about the round over there LINK
