Heading to Hot Springs for anniversary trip. Our schedule is pretty open, and looking for something to get into..anything you fellers suggest? Any good fishing outfitters around perhaps?

I haven't a clue what to do...all I know is the first stop is BassPro in Little Rock for some new Costas. Lost mine this weekend after 7 years....

There are some good hiking trails around the National Park in historic downtown area. Wife and I always stay at the Arlington and the park entrance is very close to the hotel. There are a few good restaurants around that area as well. Belle Arte and Porterhouse are our two favorites and we usually hit up the Ohio Club for a few drinks too.

Lake Ouachita is gorgeous. I'd def check it out one day. Lake Catherine state park is also nice. both are pretty close to hot springs

I hear there are these natural springs there and the water is naturally warm. Might check those out.

If you are headed up anytime soon you may be ablessed to catch the striper on topwater. Some huge striped bass up there

The bass school in july/august but run a rattle trap and try for stripers. They have some monsters in there.

Degray lake state park is about 15 miles south of there. Not nearly as crowded as Hamilton will be. Hiking trails, horseback riding, and golf all in the same area. Rent a pontoon from the marina and find you a secluded cove to pull up in and spend the day. There is magic springs if it is open. Oak lawn is there is you like to watch the ponies run. Not sure about the schedule though.

Oaklawn is a great racetrack and there are several possible fishing spots within a 20 mile radius.

Steep and cheap has a good deal on costas right now, check it out. I went to Hot Springs when I was a kid. The golf is awesome over there, but I know that's not your thing. I would rent a boat one day for sure.

Degray Lake is pretty sweet. May not try to fish....lake is way up and muddy. But the beer is definitely flowing.
Thanks for the recommendations, guys

I would've invited you, but.... I didn't want you to come, haha. We'll do a fishing trip soon, a-hole. Trout gotta run sooner or later
