i actually heard a guy who sales green say this he said the bigger ones outperform and out comfort the other brands but in this size you are just paying for the name and the green paint

Mine is blue and works great when it's not broken. A tractor is the only Ford product I will ever own...

Hydro what?

Mines got a buncha rails and cogs that I have to pop the top off of and re-align if I shift it wrong on a hill or not completely stopped right....fix or repair daily.

Only reason I own the one I do is my dad traded me the old tractor for two Southwest Rapid Reward trips to Denver. I might have gotten screwed.

45-55hp is way over kill for what you are looking to do with it. You can get away with something in the 30-40 hp.

Blue or orange. Never a red!

I'm always upset when I get on something other than a john Deere.

You pay some extra for the name, a good bit extra for the features and layout. A tractor is a lifetime purchase. If you're going to spend time on it get a Deere.

It's better to have more tractor needed for the job then not enough! Go with orange.

One of my good buddies sells Case/IH and owns a Kubota slightly smaller than what you looking for. It's a real nice machine.

Possibly, red usually means IH.

Orange all day. my dad just bought a L4701 kubota. it is a little bigger than he wanted but glad he chose the bigger tractor. has the 6' front end loader and 6' bush hog. after using it and the features i would put it above the deere and the mahindra. we looked hard at mahindras and well the compact lineup is nice but at the end of the day the kubota was more bang for the buck. he paid like 27k for it at seal tractor in woodvile, ms and mr seal delivered it as well. hope this helps.

We had a 23 horse kubota with a grooming mower for 20 years and all we did was change the oil and battery...

if you can afford green or orange (either one), go with that. if you can't.....go with red.

We have a variety in that size green, orange, red, older red, really old red and really old red is the best but seeing as that's not an option I'd go green.
