HTX is about 4 - 5fps slower which would make it ~17fps slower than the Chill-r.

I'd like to try it, but it sounds too good to be true.

Bought my MQ1 in 1998. Still works, but like you, I got the itch.

Monster Safari you can get at 85lbs. I have always wanted to give myself a hernia trying to pull that bow!

I shot Z7 from when they first came out until this year. I Loved it. If It hadent been stolen, I would still be shooting one.

That being said, I'm now shooting a Mathews Halon 6 and a freaking love it.

I shot and really liked the no cam, but the Halon was the right choice for me.

How is the halon 6 brace height? I have shite the halon 7 and man is that thing forgiving! I feel like the 5 would be too hard to shoot but the speed whore in me comes out thinking about it. The 6 seems like a perfect middle ground but the brace height makes me nervous even though my current brace height is only 1/8" longer.

I cant compare it to the 7 because I only shot the 6. I Had done a bunch of research about them before hand and shot several other bows. After shooting the no cam I thought I would be walking out the door with it.....then I shot the Halon.

It is very forgiving and fast.

still hunt with a Mathews FeatherLight 65# I bought years ago, shoots 275fps with short heavy arrows, real quiet, love that thing, just feels right in my hands, will be hard to replace it if it ever breaks...

My buddy I grew up hunting with's dad used to own the archery range in Kenner I grew up practicing at as a kid.

He shoots a 100# bow. One pin. Leather tab.

It's an old arse bow. Really old.

I bought mine the first year they came out, I haven't found anything I'd trade it for yet. Great, smooth shooting bow. One thing to keep in mind, if you are buying used, the draw length is cam specific. If you have to change draw lengths, you will need a new cam and, depending on how drastic of a change, possibly new strings and cables.

Right. I have a 28.5 in draw with my T.R.U. Ball release.

Wondering if it'll be close with the Z7.
