I wouldn't feel too bad. From the contrails I saw in your video, they were flying awfully high.

Great song selection! Screw the guys who said it's no good. But, I'm still of the opinion that maybe a video with either lower volume or no volume would be ideal. Regardless, I just bought it on iTunes.

And I'm a big fan of that fiber optic front sight. What shotgun are you using?

A 17 year old Benelli super 90. Hence the tru glow sight. The old one got smashed on the side of a blind long ago...

My day 2 vid is uploading now. It turned out much better, although the shooting leaves a lot to be desired today. Go figure...

We did the exact same thing with our camera angle. It's very misleading...

I hunt with a girl so she let me borrow her compact this morning so I could look in the mirror at my angle. It helped tremendously.

Before anyone says anything about her bringing a compact, it was for face paint. Not make up...

We just got on this place after losing our blind from last year. The property changed hands and the new land owner wanted our blind. This new place is SE of Alexandria, and SW of Catahoula Lake. Across the river from the South Delta you may hear a lot about. I guess Marksville or Alexandria would be the closest towns...

Yeah, it's a slough we leased with 2 blinds on it.

The farmer pumps into the slough then uses a riser to fill about 300 acres of old ponds with natural growth.

We picked this spot over a blind in the ponds because it came with 2 blinds for the same cost. Also, after studying google earth our slough points back to the river so every thing that comes and goes appears to use our slough to travel... so far it's working out. We're pleased...

I'm not, our old spot was North of Catahoula Lake. We're brand new to the area.

Is it close to where I'm describing?

Sounds like it, may be a little north of you... Some of my buddies leased some land on it this season... I believe it appears a little different than that in name on Google Earth
