Check out this article, makes you think how important is it really to have a level scope in relation to the gun. Seems having the scope level to the gun is more important when multiple people are using the same gun.

I'm not opposed to an 11.5" barrel, thanks for the info. Good looking SBR, i'm assuming that's an 11" solo lite rail?

Thanks! Its the ultra lite 11" rail. I think it says its 10.92 and it fits about as close as you can get...I love it. My can mount fits perfect too...just have to wait probably another year before the ATF lets me play with it
And just some more info my buddy uncle jack just built his sbr with a spikes billet lower. He used a 10.5" barrel and 9.75" rail and mine weighed about .2oz lighter even tho its bigger. I really like the barrel. You need an adjustable gas block with it tho.
Here it is with the asr can mount.

Any recommendations for a handguard?
For my 8.5" sbr. Want long as possible but still able to mount omega with quick mount it comes with
Mlok or keymod

Yes and yes. I wanted to make sure the can would clear the rail...when I eventually get the can.

i think it ends up being the flagship handguard of the OB

Put together my second lower this weekend. First one I did myself. Those roll pins are a bitch
Oh snap! Carson, I had seen that handguard online somewhere, liked it a lot but forgot the name.

I'll bump this thread for the sake of the second amendment..
Received a Palmetto State complete lower with the end of the trigger pin sheared off, which doesn't allow the gun to fire.
I have PSA sending me another one, but this situation brought to light that there's really no where in the Houma/ Thibodaux area to get any stock ar15 trigger parts in person. The only thing remotely close that I found was a FCG field repair kit at academy that, of course, had everything but the pins. Did I miss something or am I learning common knowledge?

Sammys in houma started carrying some AR parts recently. Or u could try triparish police supply on 311.

Tried both. No cigar on both. They both recommended ordering because the only time stores usually have them is when they get extras or replace with upgraded pins.
