Finally bought me a 15-22 after seeing all the discussion about them on here. Got the FDE MOE edition for tree fiddy. Can't wait to take it to the range

You'll love it. Gonna bring mine into the country this weekend and waste a few 100 rounds.

I'm real excited. I've been stockpiling .22lr for a couple of years. Now I finally get to use it

Bought one two weeks ago! Love it! Still wanting to add some type of optic or laser and a grip....only problem is too many options so i'm having trouble deciding what to buy

TRS-25 is a very popular optic. Can't go wrong with that

Probably just settle with an optic for now. Not sure which direction I want to go yet

Solid optic for this little gun IMO. Took mine out this past weekend and plinked up the woods.

I'd like one of these or a Ruger SR-22 rifle, which takes 10/22 magazines. Anyone ever shot the Ruger?

Depends on (1) maximum distance you plan to shoot and (2) optic height above bore and (3) velocity/weight of bullet.

My optics on a flat top AR style rifle end up about 2.5 " above the bore. I shoot CCI Mini-Mags that advertise 1235 ft/sec and a 40 grain bullet.

The ballistics calculator I use shows that zeroing at 75 yards means that maximum departure from line of sight is 0.7" (high) out to 75 yards, and is 2.3" low at 100 yards. (I figure 100 yards ia probably the absolute max range for me.)

Yeah I don't plan on using it outside of 100yds

i've decided on the bushnell RDS. Last thing i need to decide on is the grip. Any recommendations? the one i see most I think is the Magpul Angled Front Grip...any other brands i should look at? and do you prefer angled grip, vertical grip, or no grip....

i'm like a damn kid since i bought this gun ha..i haven't wanted anything for christmas in years but this year i want 22 bullets and accessories

Yes, I owned one for a few months. Don't get it. It's a heavy pile of shite. It's a 10/22 hidden in aluminum, you can take it out of the SR-22 conversion kit and put it in a Hogue stock and have a normal 10/22. The barrel shroud isn't connected to the gun very well so it will actually flex when grabbed making BUIS on it useless. It comes with a little rubber stopper to prevent the shroud from doing that, but that actually flexes on the barrel and makes everything worse. 15-22 is the better way to go if you want taticool or get a 10/22 and put a Hogue stock/bull barrel on it if you want the 10/22 platform.

Good info thanks. I already have a regular 10/22 and have been wanting to do the Hogue stock/barrel route. I might still pick up a 15-22.

Amazon is outta stock on the 0.83" said it would be a month or two before getting more. They have the 1.0" in stock. Haven't decided what to do about that yet.

Edit: Actually haven't bought the RDS yet. Waiting until payday at the end of the month so I've got a little time to decide on the riser
