I bought a handguard conversion kit for my 15-22 and added my free float Midwest Industries rail. Came out awesome.

Cant really answer your question with a ton of accuracy yet. Ive only shot the gun last weekend in the woods at random distances with crappy Remington hollow point ammo. Some shots were balls arse on with what I was aiming at and some were high, low, and to the right. Sighted in the gun with Federal but I was just plinking with the hollow points because I knew they were crap rounds.

Is that legal? I shoot at the Ouachita Parish Sheriffs Office range and they don't allow "rapid fire" on the public range. LEO from all of the local departments train there on fully automatic weapons, but they're on different ranges.

As far as the government goes, yes it's legal without A tax stamp required.

But as you stated some ranges might have rules about rapid fire. That would be specific to each range.
