I took Dawg23's class and he told me more than once where to take my packet to get it signed for free. I just cannot remember that guys name!
If you took his class, can you help me out?

I wish I would have gone this route then. Its not exactly cheap getting them all notarized. However, it has peaked my interest in becoming a notary.

The UPS Stores in Lafayette all have notaries and they only charge $20.

I took his class but don't recall him telling us about a fee notary.

There was an attorney in the class that was going to notarize mine for free but I didn't have it filled out yet.

becoming a notary

Not easy at all, wife has taken the test a couple times for work, and if someone who deals with that stuff everyday, and studied her arse off for the test says its damn hard, it must be tough.

Yeah I know its not like signing up for Guns and Ammo but I can actually use it in my line of work. I dont know about turning a profit but it will eventually pay for itself.

Really? in georgia, you fill out a form, have two people in the county sign it, then take it down to the court and give them money

Wow. In LA, it is a 3 part test, a research, multiple choice, and long answer. The only good part if you fail part of the test, you don't have to retake the parts you passed. The passing grade is good for 3 years. Wife is on her 3rd time taking it, well she took it in December, passed one part both prior times, so she only had to do the MC part this time. Hopefully she will pass this last part. She said every time she took it, she recognized most of the people sitting for it the next time. They only offer the test twice a year.
